car
Nick Zbu asked:

I’ve been trying to find one, but don’t know how to do it. For the last few months I’ve been trying to junk my old car (no longer runs) for scrap. So far I’ve come up with nothing but junkyards and people who’ll just take my car for free. Is there a way to sell my car for scrap so I can get some money back from my car?

If it helps my location is Southeastern Michigan.

DENNIS

You could try to sell it for parts onlline. Someplace like Autotrader.com. Where I live we have a paper that is nothing but classifieds. You could try to put out an add in a paper like that.

you can advertise it in free publications in your area as usable parts, you might have to list the usable parts, keep your prices low to sell quickly!

Call your local scrap yards. I’m in central Mi and scrap cars and other metals every week. You’ll need the title for the car when you take it to the scrap yard.

Look in the want adds Auto Service (Cars Wanted also) section, especially on Sundays, generally there are adds for wanted junk cars….. They will pick up that way…
